KyoConnect

This project is a real-time interactive map designed to enhance tourists' experiences in Kyoto. The app provides pop-ups and information tailored to users' interests as they explore the city. By utilizing real-time location tracking, the app ensures visitors receive engaging and relevant insights about Kyoto's history, culture, and local etiquette. Additionally, the app aims to help users understand the historical background, culture, and values deeply rooted within the region, ultimately promoting awareness of proper "tourism etiquette."

The app utilizes Niantic Maps to capture key points of the city and VPS (Visual Positioning System) for a real-time interactive map experience.

This project was developed by a team working across multiple time zones. The use of Niantic Studio significantly streamlined the development process, enabling seamless collaboration and efficient implementation of real-time location-based features.
